Annie Gnoan – Editorial Assistant at Puffin, PRH

Annie joined Puffin Picture Books at Penguin Random House as an editorial assistant in 2020. As the main point of contact for the wider editorial team, she is extremely fortunate to assist and engage with the entire breadth of the list. From helping out on the immersive world of Beatrix Potter and Peter Rabbit to assisting on new acquisitions like Hey You! by Dapo Adeola, Annie is enjoying developing her editorial eye. Previously, she has worked as a Children’s Rights Intern at Pan Macmillan, a role she obtained through Creative Access. This role has provided Annie with hands on experience at discovering and what it takes to feed the appetites of international markets and has shaped her foundation of the inner workings of the publishing industry.
