Melissa Gitari started her publishing career at Simon & Schuster Children’s Books, where she worked across their growing picture books and children’s fiction lists. She is now an editor at Stripes Publishing, and is looking to acquire warm, funny middle grade, novels in verse and lighthearted YA romance, all from underrepresented authors.
