Ashley Thorpe – Development Editor at Sweet Cherry Publishing

I currently work as a Development Editor for the indie children’s publisher Sweet Cherry Publishing. My role includes hunting through submissions, generating new book ideas and helping our authors to develop their manuscripts – editing and checking content all the way through to publication. I have over a decade’s worth of publishing experience for academic and educational organisations too, and worked as a freelance editor and writer for two years prior to my current role.
